Dr. Kavita Darji is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgeon. She is focused on providing exceptional cosmetic, medical, and surgical dermatologic care to her patients. She completed her undergraduate education at Saint Louis University (SLU) with a Biology major and graduated with Distinction in Research and highest honors, summa cum laude. Earning enrollment in the highly competitive Medical Scholars program, she received early acceptance to SLU medical school. With a strong interest in both research and clinical dermatology, she pursued a two-year Dermatology Research Fellowship at SLU, during which she served as sub-investigator of numerous clinical trials evaluating cutting-edge dermatologic innovation and treatments.
After completing her Dermatology Residency at SLU, she completed advanced fellowship training in Laser and Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology in San Diego, CA. During her training, she presented oral and poster research works at various national meetings and authored research articles published in prestigious journals, including the Journal of American Academy of Dermatology, Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, and Lasers in Surgery and Medicine. With continued dedication to her field, she is a contributing member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Darji’s goal is to use evidence-based medicine, advanced expertise, an empathetic approach, and an artistic vision to provide patients of all skin types with safe, effective, and individualized treatments. She is keen on delivering natural results that allow patients to live their most radiant and self-confident lives.
Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Darji is excited to be practicing and giving back to where she calls home. As skin, hair, and nail conditions are visible and have a large impact on patients, Dr. Darji pursued dermatology as a profession to improve these manifestations with scientific backing so that patients can look and feel their best.
During her free time, Dr. Darji enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, visiting the beach, enjoying nature, playing tennis, hiking, and going on runs.
